Thermal transfer compounds WLC und WLX:
Our specially produced thermal transfer compounds WLC and WLX guarantee safe operations as well as fast and safe heat transfer in the connection between semiconductor and heatsink. They should be used when there is a danger of pollution by silicons. They can reduce the heat resistance between semiconductor and heatsink drastically.
Characteristics WLC and WLX:
- electrical isolation
- adapt to uneven contact surfaces
- consistant to oxidation
- consistant to aging processes
- high temperature application
- non toxic
- to a large extend conform to RoHS
- little oil separation
- very low thermic resistance
- chemically indifferent to metal and plastic
- low electrical changable characteristics depending on work temperature
- doesn't dry out, doesn't harden and doesn't leak
Note RoHS:
Because of production processes minimal contamination by lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) can't be avoided. But the concentration is far under the maximal limits of the legislator (<o.oo5%). The RoSH guideline itself doesn't offer any limits.
